Daym-son... It's been while since I've last blogged, but screw it, i bet no one even reads this anyways. Hahaha. I even forgot what my password to this site was, so i soent the last 10 minutes trying to figure out "what the hell is the damn thing".
The exams are still on, so forgive me if im trying to be a bit nonchalant right now. Mr.Bean is on right next to me... what a dumbass, but see, everyone loves a goofy dumbass. So where the problem at? Hahaha. Just realised that the priest preaching in the background is just speaking jibberish, and Mr.Beans trying to eat his sweet or something.
Im sorry im boring... I still don't know how to paste videos or even music onto Raffed... i haven't even gotten a chatbox(is that what its called?) yet. And i've been a blogger for what now, three months? Shows how committed i am. Hahaha.
So a lot has changed over time... Im a bit of a geek now, as much as i hate to admit it. Hahaha. I've been reading Marvel comics recently, never realised how great and how cool they were. And oh yeah, i've been reading R.A Salvatore's "The Legend of Drizzt" the dark elf. Man, how much more DOTA can i get man? hahahaha. Ah well, fuck it.
It's a bleeding storm outside, and i still want to finish my GTA4... for the second time. hahaha. Hey, don't judge me, the damn study leave has left me with nothing to damn do. Hahaha. So people, i'll reach out again soon.
In the words of... well, public demand?
Peace.

Free Running/ Parkour
Le Parkour.
Ever heard of this phrase?
Translated, Free Running. Well at least I think so, from what I understand of it.
But it doesn't matter, just type in those words into the YouTube search engine. And you will be amazed.
Assassin's Creed. Gamers will understand this.... it's actually possible.
Hahahaha. I mean, I was aware of Free Running a long time ago, just didn't have a blog then. Now that I do, i want to bring free running mainstream here in Brunei. I mean, at least I've got a purpose now right? hahahha. But more seriously... or not. Whatever floats your boat, Free Running and Parkour(Yes, even though they mean the same thing, they are two different things, i'll elaborate later) is a serious serious sport. I mean, you're jumping off buildings for fuck's sake! How much more serious can you get?
It's one of those things you can't put into words trust me, just search up free running or parkour. You'll be amazed by some of the vids posted.
Oh, Parkour is the art of fleeing, as FAST as you possibly can. And its an art, just watch the videos, and free running, is when people do tricks off walls and while jumping off buildings and stuff. I really don't know much, but, read the comments people leave underneath the videos and they can go on about how different the free running and parkour is. And they go on about, Sebastian Foucan and David Belle, these are the guys who started Parkour, but Foucan branched out into free running.
Oh and these people have been featured in movies, Foucan in Casino Royale (In that sweet scene where he runs in the building and stuff) and Belle in Banilieue 13(District 13 for you and me, and yeah, it's in a building too) but them movies are awesome!
Her's to hoping that free running and parkour do become mainstream in Brunei!

Burn it Up!
I don't know if it's just me....
But it seems that the Dance Fever is hitting Brunei.
Or is it just me?
Hahahahahaha. Before any of you guys go "Whaaat?"
I mean, if you're from JIS, or from ISB, think about it! JIS people, we had our valentines social barely a month ago at the Baze, and there were people tearing up the dance floor. And then, just Thursday, our first house dance competition (which I have to congratulate green house on winning) where in i think a space of two weeks? Intense choreography sessions led to major sweet moves being pulled off. And yesterday, being at the Mosque and all for Friday prayers, I missed out on amazing Hip-hop routines and ballet dances at lunchtime. I saw pictures and I repeat, amazing! And for ISB, remember the BGIC closing party(Which by the was awesome) at the Baze? You can't tell me that THAT was not fun, everyone was dancing, and it was shit-crazy. Not to mention, when Crank That by Soulja Boy came on, everyone on the dance floor was the doing the Soulja Boy, you know, when he goes "Yooooouuuu" and jumps side to side, yeah, and that was cool!
Hahaha, and basically, everyone I know now is so into dancing now. But the dance styles vary.... Even though most of them are street based.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjIlocYE_Wc
And there were the Japanese dancers featured in the video. They style they were dancing is "Popping", and i find it awesome the way they can synchronise their movements. And I was that was the stuff right there! And I got so intrigued, I even searched up these Japanese Dancers. They're called "U-Min" and they're the really popular in Japan cause they won some dance tourney. But seriously, these guys' routines are bitching.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvBpE0eiOr8
hahaha. I don't know about you guys, but i'm into the whole dance scene now, and i really want it to bloom here in Brunei.
If you see some person dancing around Gadong or something. Don't judge. Might be me.
Hahahahaha.
So I leave you with that.

Deeper than deep...
I'm 15, I should be at the height of teenage angst. But I see people around me, and boy, I have to say that any problems I have, are nuts compared to these guys. (Or maybe they just talk a lot more about themselves than I do) Hehehehe. What do they do in these situations? Start drinking? Take drugs? Smash up someone's car? Ah, this my friends, is the start to a possible loophole to the depression thats oppressing y'all. Soul.
But seriously, I heard these words today. "What kind of fuckery is this?", yes, those are lyrics from Miss Amy Winehouse's Me and Mr. Jones. These are the kind of lyrics that you find in soul, a genre where artists literally pour out their souls in angelic harmony, smoothed out baritone, and to the amazing symphony of trumpets, pianos and saxophones. It's a branch of Jazz, and seriously, even though my girl didn't cheat on me with another guy, I have no addictions to dope, nor do I walk the alleyways wishing for it to rain because I'm going to jail, I've got to say, I love soul music.
It's a complex thing, but it's all so simple. When you're down, listen to soul, there ain't nothing better than listening to someone sing about their problems that are way worse than yours, you'll feel instantly better! Now, i'm not speaking out of experience or anything, cause well, I'm a pretty mellowed out guy. But I fell in love with soul when i heard Otis reading belt out his Trumpet solo. Hot damn I couldn't help but hit repeat. Mojo, ever heard of that word? It';s basically street for all those soulful things. And no, i'm not referring to Mojo-jojo or anything, but he's a pretty funked up monkey. But it's amazing, what people can do with Mojo.
I'm not trying to drive any point home or anything, but all i want to say is people, embrace that Mojo.
Here's are a few artists who'll make you feel funky, and mellowed out.
- Otis Reading
- Marvin Gaye
- Bob Marley
- Amy Winehouse
- Johnnie Taylor
- The Temptations
- Barry White
- Albert Little
- Ella Fitzgerald
I'm listening to The Temptations- "I Wish It Would Rain" by the Temptations right now, you know the song from Four Brothers, when Tyrese switches on the radio when he gets home for the mother's funeral.. And Mark Wahlberg cries in the toilet...
And I'm not sad at all...

Closing That One
Man, its been 2 months since I last blogged. I even forgot my password to the blog thing, but ah well...
I've got my root beer, D'Angelos- Brown Sugar is on in the background. So I'm pretty much at ease...
A lot has gone on since the last two months, the JIS Valentines, JIS social, and BGIC just to name a few. But I'm not one to tell stories, cause I can't really paint you guys a picture with words. Don't get me wrong, I'm good at putting words down on paper, but online? Aaaaaaaah, not so much. I'm no storyteller.
But I just want to talk about how life in has been going...
My IGCSEs are on in about what, two months? I guess any year 11 who has June Os are pretty much panicking right about...now. Hahaha. I'm right, cause i am one of y'all. But with the exams coming up, there will be some cuts to freedom rights.
I can't go out every weekend like I always do
Gaming time is limited
I have to go friggin tuition
I'm not allowed to have a girlfriend(But i'm taking that as a joke)
Those are a few from a list that I couldn't be bothered to note down. Or even remember.
Hahahahaha. See, this is me chilled out. After the party for the end of BGIC last night, I really need to sleep. But I can't, I didn't get home till 1 or something. And I couldn't sleep till 1.30, even though I was really exhausted from all the dancing. And I had school.... So basically, I only had a good 4 hours of sleep. And I can't live with that.
hahaha, thats besides the point. The point is... um. Well, I'm just going on from one thing to another. I guess too much has been going on lately. Im supposed to be doing my homework right now... but I just can't pay attention. I ended up here. Hahahha.
Anyway, I finished my root beer. So I guess
I'm pretty much done now. hahahha. Sorry everyone, I really can't specify an entertaining topic to blog on. But I will soon, I guess I'm just checking if my blog is still working.
I'm not an avid blogger, or a good one for that matter. But, i'll update soon. And hopefully, with another tall Bundaberg Root Beer bottle in my hands, I'll be able to think of something to say. I'd just like to end by saying. I'm Fine. Even though....
Now that, my friends, is something I can talk about next time, Hahahahaha.
Heres to possessing that will to chill.:)

It all comes down...
I woke up to the sound of rain pit-pit-pattering against my window... well, all 8 windows. So you can imagine the noise. Enough to wake me up anyways. hahaha, this is like, 5.30 in the morning, and it's the crack of dawn. So I couldnt help but get out of bed and just sit near the window looking at the starting of daylight. The clouds were highlighted with white, yellow, auburn brown. And I don't know about you guys, but I'm a sucker for scenery, so i spent a whole hour just looking out the window, hardly procrastination, i spent the whole time thinking back, and the sight of the rising sun reminded me of a photo I took back in Europe when me and the family were at Disneyland Paris.
Thats right.
I've been to Disneyland.
Hehehehehe.
Anyway, I was thinking back, and I realised how good a time i had there. How cool it was, i mean, sometimes, theres a huge difference when you see something on TV and being there in person and it leads to a huge disappointment. But I kid you not, never was there a moment of disappointment at Disneyland. I grew up on Disney, and being there was a dream come true, seriously. However old we will get, I can tell you, theres always that one something that brings out the 6 year old in you. And from Disneyland, came my other memories, i kept thinking about how young I was and what cartoons i used to watch. How sweet everything was.
I gave up an hour of my day, wait no, i gave up an hour of SLEEP to live in the past.
Its called nostalgia.
To use the past to make sure you look at life with a different perspective.
I apologise if this was a dull post. I did wake up at 5.
Keep well everyone.

Audio Blogging
Hey again,
I know i'm not the only person who has pointed this out but, it's reaaaally hard to show emotion while you're online. Like, it takes a conversational wizard to be able to slip in obvious sarcasm when you're typing at a furious pace online. That's why they invented the smileys, but thats not the point(If there is one). My point is, by just hearing a person's voice, an average person will be able to derive the tone, the changes, the pace at which the person is speaking at, and from that, the emotion that drives the topic being talked about. Hahaha, i mean, you might be telling a joke, but the full blow of the joke can be blunted without the presence of a voice.
So the solution? Audio blogging, i mean, you can video blog, but, thats just too much work, you'll be busy making sure you look good and be conscious of what you're wearing... y'know? So you can talk endlessly into a mike and post it online! I mean, that would be cool if it was implied all around. I mean, people might actually have done this, but, again... just pointing it out! No biggie.
You know Cobbie Caillat? The singer of "Bubbly"? Well, shes a hit now, and you know how she got discovered? Friggin' My Space. I mean, by audio blogging, doors are opened. So whoever has a good voice, please, be discovered. Maybe you can add some perspective in the slowly deteriorating music world. Cause you weren't discovered on looks, you were discovered because of your voice.
Opportunities are everywhere. Discover them, use them.
As always... Think... It ain't illegal yet.
Keep Well Everyone.
